In plain terms. If you request the free kit, we collect your first name and email address so we can send it to you and, with your permission, occasional research news. We also collect basic site-usage data. We do not sell or share your personal information. You can unsubscribe any time, and you can ask us to access, correct, or delete your information by emailing privacy@puuralabs.com. This summary is for convenience only; the full policy below governs.

This Privacy Policy explains how PUURA LLC, a Tennessee limited liability company (“PUŪRA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, and shares information when you visit puuralibrary.com (the “Site”), an educational site that publishes research articles and a free set of guides. Nothing is sold on the Site. By using the Site, you agree to this Policy.

1. Information We Collect

Information you give us, when you request the free kit:

  • Your first name and email address.
  • The acknowledgment on the form: that you are 21 or older, that the materials are for research and educational purposes only, and that you agree to receive occasional emails.
  • Where you arrived from, if the link you followed carried a campaign tag (for example, the name of an ad or newsletter).

Information collected automatically:

  • Device and usage data — IP address, browser type and version, operating system, pages visited, time spent, and referring URLs, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information such as government identification numbers, health information, biometric data, or precise geolocation, and we ask that you not send it to us.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To send you the kit you requested;
  • To send you occasional emails about research news, new compounds, and seasonal offers, until you unsubscribe;
  • To understand which articles and campaigns are useful, and to operate, secure, and improve the Site; and
  • To comply with legal obligations.

3. We Do Not Sell Your Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under California law. If we ever deploy advertising or analytics technology on the Site that could constitute a “sale” or “sharing” under California law, we will update this Policy and provide a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link before doing so.

4. Cookies, Analytics & Do Not Track

We use cookies for essential Site functions and to understand Site usage in aggregate. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Analytics and session recordings. We use PostHog to understand how visitors use the Site. PostHog sets cookies and records the pages you view, what you click, your device and browser type, and a recording of how you moved through the page (scrolling, clicks, and mouse movement). Anything typed into a form field, including your name and email address, is masked in your browser before it is sent. PostHog processes this data on our behalf in the United States.

Do Not Track. Some browsers transmit a “Do Not Track” signal. There is no industry-standard interpretation of that signal, and the Site does not currently respond to it. We disclose this as required by California law.

5. How We Share Information

  • Service providers acting on our behalf and only as needed to provide their service — our hosting, database, email-delivery, email-marketing, and analytics providers. They are contractually restricted from using your information for their own purposes.
  • Legal and safety recipients — where required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or where we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of others. This includes responding to a regulator.
  • A successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets.

We do not share your information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

6. Data Retention

  • Kit requests and email-list membership — for as long as you remain subscribed, and then for up to three (3) years.
  • Marketing preferences and opt-out records — indefinitely, so we can honor your opt-out.
  • Site usage and analytics data — typically no more than twenty-six (26) months.

After the applicable period we delete or de-identify the information.

7. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including encryption in transit, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a security incident affecting your personal information occurs, we will notify you and any applicable regulator as and when required by Tennessee law and any other applicable state breach-notification statute.

8. Your Choices & Rights

  • Unsubscribe from our emails using the link in any email we send, or by contacting us;
  • Access, correct, or delete your information by emailing privacy@puuralabs.com;
  • Disable cookies through your browser settings.

California residents. Under the CCPA/CPRA you may have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to request access, correction, or deletion, to opt out of any “sale” or “sharing,” to limit use of sensitive personal information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights. To make a request, email privacy@puuralabs.com. You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.

Residents of other states. Depending on where you live, you may have similar rights to access, correct, delete, obtain a portable copy of, or opt out of certain processing of your personal information. Contact us at privacy@puuralabs.com to make a request.

We will verify your identity before acting on a request and will respond within the time required by applicable law. Where we decline a request, we will explain why and how to appeal.

9. Age Restriction

The Site is intended for adults 21 years of age or older. It is not directed to children or to anyone under 21, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 21. If we learn that we have, we will delete it. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us at privacy@puuralabs.com and we will delete it promptly.

10. Research Use Only

All content on the Site is for research and educational purposes only. It is not medical advice and should not be read as a recommendation to use any compound in humans or animals.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy. Changes take effect when posted with a new “Last updated” date. Where changes are material, we will highlight them on the Site and, where required by law, notify you directly.

12. Governing Law

This Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
