These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern your use of puuralibrary.com (the “Site”), operated by PUURA LLC, a Tennessee limited liability company (“PUŪRA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. What the Site Is

The Site publishes research articles, a free set of downloadable guides (the “Kit”) and an interactive quiz. Nothing is sold on the Site.

2. Eligibility

The Site is intended for adults 21 years of age or older. By using it, you confirm that you are.

3. Research and Educational Use Only

All content on the Site, including the articles, the Kit and quiz results, is for research and educational purposes only. It is not medical, legal or professional advice, and it is not a recommendation to use any compound in humans or animals. Nothing on the Site is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Research summaries describe published studies as we understand them; science changes, and we do not guarantee that any content is complete, current or error-free.

4. The Free Kit and Emails

• The Kit is free. To receive it, you provide your first name and email address. No purchase is required, now or later.
• When you request the Kit, we email it to you and, as the form states, send occasional emails about research news and offers. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
• We may change or stop offering the Kit at any time.
• How we handle the information you give us is described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Our Content

The Site and its content, including text, guides, graphics and the PUŪRA name and marks, are owned by PUURA LLC or its licensors and protected by copyright and trademark law. You may read, download and print content for your own personal, non-commercial use, and you may share links to it. You may not republish, sell, or copy substantial parts of the content without our written permission.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose;
• Submit false information, or someone else’s email address without their permission;
• Scrape, crawl or harvest the Site or its content by automated means, other than standard search-engine indexing; or
• Interfere with or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or its systems.

7. Third-Party Links

Articles may cite outside sources, such as published studies. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party sites or their content.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and all content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PUURA LLC and its members, employees and advisors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of or reliance on the Site or its content. Because the Site and the Kit are provided free of charge, our total liability for any claim relating to the Site will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100).

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. Changes take effect when posted with a new “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Site after that means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to the Site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Davidson County or Williamson County, Tennessee.
